I had not been to Namu before when we went there yesterday evening. For those who don't know of it, it is attached to the Ramada hotel on Mayor Magrath Drive South. I got the only thing on the menu that didn't appear to have any animal products in it - the Tofu Stir Fried Noodle for $13. There were a few other options that would fit with a vegetarian diet that contained eggs. My dining companions ordered the chicken bulgogi ($13) and Hae Mul Pajean ($18). We also ordered some butterfly shrimp to start.

The portions we quite large and no one felt like they didn't have enough food. I would recommend getting a few things and sharing them. I liked my dish - it came with garlic bread, which I didn't even get around to, and had lots of veggies and tofu. The tofu was nicely done and just how I like it - crispy outside, soft inside. All the food was hot and served fairly promptly, though I think the waitress was having a bad night because the service could have been a bit better. For me, it was just okay. The flavours were good, and none of the dishes are things that I would know how to make at home, but I would have something different next time. Only there weren't many other vegan options. You can check out their menu here. There are a few things that might interested vegetarians who eat eggs - avocado egg rolls sound pretty great if you don't think about calories :)
My fellow diners enjoyed their dishes but had a similar feeling - the atmosphere is nice and we would go again, but probably try different dishes. So, I guess we're undecided and in need of more information. But hey, it beat staying at home last night. We had an enjoyable meal in a relaxing restaurant and that's what we were looking for!
